Dr. Brian Healy, DC, MPT

Dr. Brian Healy was raised on Long Island, New York where he was introduced to rehab as a high school athlete. He had aspirations of working with athletes as a professional and pursued a career in physical therapy. He received his undergraduate and Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton in 2002.
After 3 years of practice, Brian chose to further his academic studies and attended Chiropractic College. Dr. Healy graduated with honors, Summa cum laude, from the Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida.

Integration of Careers

Dr. Healy has a unique ability to address patient’s healthcare issues, as he is both a doctor of chiropractic and a licensed physical therapist. His extensive education and significant experience within hospital and outpatient clinical settings, working with acute and chronic injury, post surgical healing and emergency care, have positioned him to be a leader in care management planning, musculoskeletal treatment protocol and a sought after speaker within the healthcare community. His work with professional, college and high school athletes has made him proficient in treating sports injuries and designing strengthening protocols. Dr. Healy is also an educator providing continuing education to physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and occupational therapists.


Continuing Education

Dr. Healy is an avid reader and is constantly attending continuing education. He has been certified in several techniques including Functional Release (FR), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). These tools help diagnose and treat dysfunctions in normal human movement. Dr. Healy is currently pursuing research, live classes, and information on topics including scoliosis correction and management, instrument soft tissue manipulation, performance engineering, sports medicine surgical and rehab updates.




Dana Beyer, LMT

Dana is a native of Upper Michigan who moved to the Northshore and has been performing therapeutic massage and bodywork for 5 years. Before moving to Illinois she attended 2 years of college at Northern Michigan University with a focus in Science and Biology and graduated from Marquette School of Therapeutic Massage in 2011.

Since the beginning of her practice she has honed her skills in understanding anatomy and physiology with the application of clinical massage techniques to an array of body types, myoskeletal dysfunctions and health conditions. Her practice is not only to achieve relaxation, but to progress patients to be more anatomically and physiologically functionally, leading them to a happier,healthier lifestyle. She is proficient in blending, modifying, and creating an array of manual therapies to mold tough, unhealthy soft tissue to functional tissue on a cellular level. Combining massage therapy, movement, and exercise to achieve better communication with soft tissues to the brain, promoting better mobilization, regeneration of muscle tissue and create awareness to patients myoskeletal imbalances and movement patterns. Her attentiveness to details, clear communication, diligence, positive enthusiasm, and passion to educate has made her an asset to team REACT.  She is trained in the following: swedish massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, functional release, myofascial release, prenatal, sports and Thai massage.
