When you look at the science of how joints develop and wear over time, it becomes apparent that joints need to move throughout their full range of motion and be exposed to variable loads. CARS is a method to examine how much motion is available at a joint and how well you can control that motion in isolation. One of the great things about improving your CARs is that it will translate to all other skills and activities. If your joints are better when we put them “under the microscope”, they will be able to contribute to more complex movements and sports more efficiently. At React, CARs will be part of your rehab and training to help you prevent injury, degeneration, and improve performance.
Controlled Articular Rotations (CARS)
CARS is an acronym for Controlled Articular Rotations. We use CARS as our rotational training for the following:
- Range of Motion Maintenance
- Joint Health
